Amherstburg Kids’ Cancer Ride will raise funds for paediatric cancer in a community based bike-a-thon. In conjunction with the “Coast to Coast Against Cancer National Ride” sponsored this year by Sears At any given time, cancer holds 10,000 Canadian children in its grip. It robs them, and their families, of the laughter and joy that should be part of every childhood. 100% of the money you raise or contribute will go to the Coast to Coast Against Cancer organization, helping kids with cancer through funding research, treatment and support programs. Our local ride is being held in conjunction with the Sears National Coast to Coast Kids Cancer Ride. Local cyclist and cancer survivor Dave Punga was fortunate enough to be selected for this national team last year and continues to support this event and fellow cancer survivors Last years Amherstburg Kids Cancer ride raised over $10,000 for Kid's Cancer charity. This event is completely volunteer based and all elements of the event have been donated, this means that every penny of this event goes to Coast to Coast Against Cancer |
